Holistic Voice Lessons, Violin and Viola lessons are available in my home studio and online using Zoom or FaceTime. Lessons are available Monday-Friday.
Voice lessons are available for beginner to advanced students ages 7-adulthood.
Violin and Viola lessons are available for beginner-advanced intermediate students ages 7-adulthood.
Studio Location: 4804 Sweetbrier Dr. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17111.
Online Lessons
Zoom and FaceTime Lessons are available.
Online lessons work well for these reasons:
1. If things are going on in your schedule that makes it difficult to come in person that week.
2. If the weather is not so nice that day.
3. If you feel under the weather but still feel good enough to have a lesson.
4. If you do not have a way to get to your lesson in person (aka no one to drive you or you live far away.)
5. If you need to reschedule to a later time in the evening and want to have your lesson in your PJ’s.
If you do need to switch to online for that week, please send me a text or email to let me know. If you live close enough to have in-person lessons but prefer online, I highly suggest coming at least once a month in person. In-person allows us to play duets together (if taking violin or viola lessons), and that's always FUN!
Please note: If you do not arrive within the first 15 minutes of your online lesson and have not reached out to let me know you will be late, that lesson will be forfeited.
Payment
Students paying monthly:
1. Lessons are invoiced every 4 weeks.
2. Payment in full is due at your first lesson after receiving the invoice.
Please note that payment is due at the beginning for the 4 lessons and not at the end after you have had all 4 lessons. By making that monthly commitment, you are receiving a discount, it is guaranteeing your spot for that day and time, and you have full access to the website portal.
3. Cash, Check, Venmo, Cashapp, Apple Pay, and Zelle are preferred payments. PayPal is accepted as payment if using the PayPal.me link in the invoice.
For students paying per lesson, payment is due before the start of your lesson or at your lesson.
Late payments may result in an additional fee, you may lose the discounted rate and will be charged the pay per lesson rate for each lesson. If payment is more than 30 days late, the student will not be able to continue lessons until the outstanding balanced is paid and may lose their time slot. If more than 30 days late payment occurs more than once, the student will no longer be able to continue lessons.
Missed Lesson Policy and Make-Up Lessons
Lessons will only be made up if:
- 24 Hour Notice is Given
- In case of Emergency or Sudden Illness, cancellation must occur within 3 hours of the lesson start time.
- You lose internet or electricity and have an online lesson; cancellation must occur within 3 hours of the lesson start time.
You can cancel or reschedule a lesson directly through the lesson portal or reach out to me. I do run an almost full music studio. Therefore lesson make-up slots are limited. You have 45 days to make up the lesson.
Lessons will only be prorated for the following reasons:
1. If I have to cancel and cannot reschedule.
2. If the student and I cannot coordinate our schedules, prorating may be an option.
Lessons will not be made up and will be forfeited (you will be charged) for the following reasons:
1. If you forget to come.
2. If you forget to cancel.
3. If you cancel in less than 24 hours.
4. If you have an Emergency or wake up sick and cancel less than 3 hours before your lesson start time.
5. If you forget your music or instrument and cancel for that reason.
6. If you cancel a make-up lesson.
Lesson Termination:
A two weeks notice is required to terminate lessons.
If you are on a monthly payment plan, your time slot is reserved for you. Failure to show up for 2 consecutive weeks without cancellation or communication will result in loss of time slot and access to the membership portal. There are no refunds.
If you wish to come back for lessons and a time slot is available, I am more than happy to work with you again. If a time slot is not available, I will add you to my waiting list.
Weekly Lessons
If you are making a commitment to have weekly lessons, you are committing to having at least 4 lessons a month. It is your responsibility to schedule a make up for lessons missed. Please refer to the missed lesson policy for which lessons can and cannot be made up. Payment is due at the beginning of the monthly lessons. You will be invoiced. Late payments may incur a late fee. By making the monthly commitment, I am reserving that time specifically for you, offering a discount and giving you full access to my website portal.
Pay Per Lesson Students
I have specific time slots available for pay per lesson students. You can schedule the lesson yourself on the website portal or reach out to me and I can add it to the schedule. Payment for your lesson is due at your lesson. In addition to the above missed lesson policy, if you cancel last minute (less than 3 hours before your scheduled lesson time) more than two times, payment for your lesson will be due at the time of scheduling.
The Studio is closed during the following Holidays:
Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, July 4th
Inclement Weather:
I feel safety is most important. For any in-studio students who feel safer staying at home, please reach out to either move the lesson online or reschedule. If you decide to reschedule, you must notify me within 2 hours before your lesson. Last minute cancellations will result in forfeiting that lesson.
Arrival and Etiquette for My Home:
Please come in, go down the stairs, and have a seat in the waiting room. The bathroom is located off of the studio room. Parents are more than welcome to come in, sit on the couches, and wait. I ask that you please be respectful of my home.
